The etext.ie bluetooth marketing device is a perfect solution for bars, clubs, restaurants as it broadcast to a radius of 30 meters and send FREE picture messages to everyone phone in that area - yes that's right 'every phone'.

The bluetooth signal can be picked up by passers by and can be used to redeem discounts online. Any person who declines to receive the bluetooth message will be added to the STOP list and will never receive a message from that device again.

The bluetooth marketing device costs €395 and if you require to regularly update the marketing campaign the device pushes out and statistics about how many phones received the messages - then we offer a component in the etext.ie control panel which communicates with your device for €15 per month.

Basically the way it works is as follows:
The bluetooth device can be installed in a well populated area - it scans 30 metres in radius. When it picks up a phone in that radius it sends that phone a request under 4 seconds. The receiver then either presses Yes to receive or No to never receive an alert again. Then the session is created and the image is sent via bluetooth to the receiver.

So if you were a restaurant on a main street - the device could catch thousands of phones every day. If people state No they never get it again.
